A truly romantic break set among mountains, the scent of flowers and a hotel on its own island
A 3-night break visiting Inveraray, Oban and Mull
Your trip north to Oban will take you alongside Loch Lomond, and through Inveraray where you may wish to enjoy lunch at Loch Fyne Oyster Bar restaurant before browsing the famous Loch Fyne Whiskies shop. A trip to Inveraray is incomplete without a visit to stunning Inveraray Castle - home to the Duke and Duchess of Argyll.
End your day at either the Loch Fyne Hotel, Inveraray, or the Crinan Hotel nr Lochgilphead before setting off to oban the next day where you can spend the day exploring the town and taking a tour of Oban Distillery.
You will then travel to either to Eriska to check into the Isle of Eriska Hotel – situated on its own island or book a night at the Oban Bay Hotel & Spa
Next day an early start will take you on a cruise to the Isle of Mull where you will take in a visit to Tobermory Distillery. The truly romantic among you will want to visit Torosay Castle with gardens in full bloom. Stay overnight at the Isle of Mull hotel before you will cruise back to Oban where you trip ends.
Total approximate cost per person for all elements of the trip, including bed and breakfast accommodation: £295 including ferry crossing to Mull (reduce price to £215 if staying at the Oban Bay Hotel instead of Isle of Eriska, on the 2nd night).
